Hi there

I'm Joshlyn Peace
A multidisciplinary creative based in Washington, D.C., whose work explores themes of texture, identity, space, and the human experience. My professional expertise includes sculpture, writing, and visual imagery, operating both in front of and behind the camera. Between projects, I can be found visiting galleries, hiking, and experimenting with new mediums of artistic expression.

About Me
As a Washington, D.C.-based multidisciplinary artist, I fluidly move between the studio, the page, and the corporate world to explore identity, form, and leadership. My creative practice is deeply interconnected: I shape tangible narratives through sculpture, anchor abstract concepts through my writing, and express a distinct visual perspective as an editorial and print model. This artistic drive is backed by a Master’s degree in Creative Business Leadership from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), which empowers me to bridge the gap between raw creative vision and strategic execution. This blend of business acumen and artistry was forged during my five years at a software company focusing on the hospitality industry, where I also spent three years leading the LGBTQ+ Business Resource Group (BRG), championing workplace advocacy and community. Ultimately, whether I am working in three dimensions, collaborating on a fashion campaign, or driving strategic initiatives, my goal is to leverage my diverse experiences to tell unified, authentic, and impactful stories.

Strategic Creative Leadership
I sit at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and high-level creative execution. Holding a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Robert Morris University and a Master’s degree in Creative Business Leadership from the Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD), I approach every project with an ROI mindset. I don't just create art—I specialize in translating abstract creative direction into tangible business outcomes.

Editorial Modeling & Narrative Performance
My work in front of the camera goes beyond standard fashion aesthetics to explore deeper human themes of authenticity, resilience, and personal evolution. Rather than focusing on a strict aesthetic of androgyny, I use my platform to embrace gender fluidity by leaning into a dynamic of power and softness—expressing a holistic, human state rather than an ambiguously gendered look. For me, modeling is an intentional study of the human experience, using visual storytelling to explore identity, joy, and what it means to show up fully and authentically in space.

Enterprise Tech & Solutions Architecture
For years, I honed my analytical and client-facing skills as a Solution Consultant within the fast-paced hospitality software industry. Tasked with diagnosing complex hardware and software architectures, I specialized in strategic problem-solving, resolving high-stakes client pain points, and translating technical complexities into seamless user solutions. This corporate foundation gives me a structured, operational advantage in every creative project I manage.

Tactile Artistry & The Written Word
My creative practice is a continuous dialogue between the tactile and the literary. As a sculptor, I work in three dimensions to explore texture, structure, and physical presence. As a writer, I anchor those abstract concepts into words, bridging the gap between physical art and storytelling. Each medium informs the other—the physical awareness of sculpting dictates how I move in front of a camera, while the rhythm of my writing breathes depth into my visual art.

Advocacy & Corporate Culture
True inclusion requires focused leadership. For three years, I served as the global lead for our corporate LGBTQ+ Business Resource Group (BRG), spearheading workplace advocacy, driving community engagement, and consulting on internal diversity metrics. My modeling and artistic work directly support this mission, using visual storytelling as a vehicle to promote authentic representation and inclusivity for modern corporations.

The Horizon
Looking ahead, my mission is to completely dissolve the boundary between executive strategy and high-level creative execution. In the next few years, you will see me directing large-scale creative campaigns for forward-thinking brands, consulting enterprise organizations on authentic representation, and building immersive, multi-medium art installations that merge sculpture and storytelling. I want to be known not just as a creative who understands business, or a business leader who appreciates art, but as the blueprint for how the two should seamlessly coexist. Ultimately, I aim to be recognized for creating spaces—both in the boardroom and the gallery—where human authenticity, structural strategy, and raw emotional power drive measurable cultural and commercial impact
